The five Dutch players on the European Tour in the KLM Open

Joost Luiten is playing his third season on the Tour, finished last year as the best Dutch player in 28th place after a strong final sprint and is now in 79th place in the Race to Dubai Rankings.

Last year, Robert-Jan Derksen was 54th on the European Tour and made a good start to the new season with a 4th place finish in the Avantha Masters.

Maarten Lafeber, who won his own country's tournament in 2003, has been playing for 11 consecutive years now on the European Tour. Last year he just finished in the top 100 in the Race to Dubai Rankings and is now in 88th place.

The European Tour counts two new Dutch players this year: Floris de Vries and Tim Sluiter. De Vries earned his card by finishing within the top 5 in the Challenge Tour Rankings, and Tim Sluiter qualified through the Qualifying School.
